Introduction: Health EQUITY is one the most crucial bioethics issues in the world and inequities in health and health care are one of the greatest challenges facing the international community today. Theological aspects of this ethical issue have not been evaluated deeply.Methods: It is a review study trying to investigate several issues considering health EQUITY from Islamic perspectives: basics, source of inEQUITY, strategies for coping with inequities.Results: Through comprehensive literature review health EQUITY was studied in different aspects and Holy Quran was used as the main source of information in Islamic literature. Social EQUITY has been considered as one of the most important issues in the community and health EQUITY is one of its aspects. Health EQUITY has been studied in developed countries thoroughly and different aspects of it and practical strategies for its provision are available in details. On the other hand, invaluable advices and strategies can be found in Islamic literature with respect to cope with poverty, inequalities in income and wealth, institutional racism and gender discrimination as main sources for health inequalities.Conclusions: Several issues considered as the basics of health EQUITY in developed countries that can be justified by Islamic literatures and there is an enriched source of rules and instructions to provide health justice in Islamic communities. This review study can be used as a foundation for Islamic societies to undertake some stratigies for dealing with health inequalities currently found. The strategies suggested in Islam are simple and are originated from the nature of humanity.
